THE LEAST MAY BE THE MOST

PictureA MEAL READY TO EAT (MRE)
What you may consider the least thing you can do, may be the most God expects you to do.  Many of us are trapped in upside down mortgages and jobs with diminishing resources.  We have never advocated abandoning where you are in life and retreating to a fortified bunker stocked with five years of supplies that would enable you to endure all hazards.  Very few of us can consider such ostentatious arrangements.  What we have suggested is a minimalist approach.  That is to say, if all you can put away for an MRE (Meal Ready to Eat) is a can of pork & beans, then do it.  Just like the lad in the Bible that had five barley loaves and two small fishes to share, this small step, mixed with faith, can bring the maximum results to get you ready.  I am not implying that the can of beans will bring a miracle, but if that is the only thing you can do, God can add to it.  Your actions should never be fear based.  Have faith for the smallest thing and God will build on it. Whatever your measure of faith may be, use it.  Take the simple step that you are able to take and God will add to it. However, he does require your active participation as revealed in, faith without works is dead.  Now have faith for that smallest thing and God will do His part.
